Growing up in Bakersfield and living the scholarly life while attending the University of California, Irvine, Rouzy has always had a passion for music. With his love for music, came the goal of releasing a mixtape before his 23rd birthday. It's a great mixtape that shows the variety of music styles Rouzy covers, which can be classified mainly under hip-hop. My personal favorite of the mixtape is "SO AMAZING", which is the shortest of all the songs (not my intention...) but I totally saw the potential if it was a full length song. With all the other songs on the mixtape, it's humbling to hear Rouzy pay tribute to his family first and foremost, his friends, and things that have inspired him throughout his life. So here's an ode to all the songs on the mixtape and some of the lyrics that stood out to me...

A great thing about this mixtape is that when it comes down to it, it's so inspirational. A lot of his lyrics talks about always striving for your goals and never giving up which is exactly what Rouzy is doing right now. His love for music and drive have really paid off and put him on the map. Another great thing about Rouzy Rouz is that he's easily accessible to all his biggest supporters and fans!
