Ashlee Simpson steps out with her new boyfriend, Vincent Piazza, on Wednesday (June 15) in New York City.

The 26-year-old entertainer (in a Tucker printed skirt) and her new beau shared a sweet kiss and stayed close as they walked around the city together.

Vincent is known for his work on Boardwalk Empire - he also starred in 2007’s Rocket Science opposite Anna Kendrick.

Ashlee is newly single after filing for divorce from her husband, Pete Wentz, in early February.

Ashlee Simpson Files for Divorce

Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from husband Pete Wentz, JustJared.com can confirm.

The 26-year-old entertainer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, according to TMZ and documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court.

Ashlee is asking for joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their 2-year-old son, Bronx.

Sources tell TMZ that Ashlee and Pete, who married in May of 2008, did not have a prenuptial agreement.

UPDATE: “After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. Ashlee Simpson broke out her bikini to hit the beach in Hawaii with Bronx yesterday afternoon. Pete Wentz didn't complete the trio, though he is along for the vacation — despite saying he's "off the grid" he couldn't help but share how the smell of coconut lotion can make your soul "feel a bit better." Ashlee has been pretty quiet since her stint on Melrose Place and latest Broadway run came to an end, but she looks like she's perfectly happy relaxing with her smiley 1-year-old son. The islands of Hawaii are brimming with celebrities this week from Jay-Z and Beyonce playing in the sand to Aniston, Sandler, and Kidman filming their movie, now with the Simpson-Wentz family added into the mix!

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz take their baby boy Bronx Wentz, 3 months, catch a departing flight to London at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Tuesday (March 3).
Pete, 29, recently shared his secret to putting Bronx to sleep. He told UK’s Daily Mail, “To get our son to sleep we play him Bob Dylan’s ‘You Belong To Me’. Or a little Sinatra.”
The Fall Out Boy rocker continued, “My boy’s probably the last person in the world to appreciate my singing voice. Although I wrote a lullaby especially for him – you’ll find it on our new album if you look hard enough – it’s a hidden track. We had so much fun doing it I’m going to put out an album of songs for children.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz welcomed a son Thursday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and measured 20 1/2 inches long.
A spokesperson tells People, “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!”
