NICOLE SCHERZINGER DOESN'T MAN UP ON X FACTOR

What do we know about Nicole Scherzinger? As the sultry songstress and dancer from The Pussycat Dolls right? So far in regards to music, she hasn't been in the scene as much. Her "break" consists of winning the mirrorball trophy on Dancing with the Stars and now she's a judge on X Factor. But it seems after last night, she might be saying bye bye to the show...

Here's my rant: Nicole should've been an adult and fulfilled her role as a judge AND that is to correctly judge who should still stay in the competition. There's a reason why judges get to pick who stay and who goes, because those are the rules for X Factor. But she couldn't MAN UP and choose Rachel Crowe because she didn't want to be the reason why any of them went home. So she leaves it up to America, and we all know how America tends to usually get it wrong on reality competition shows. And there we have it: Rachel Crowe, the deserving candidate leaves. Now who feels like the dumb one? Nicole of course! Because though she didn't want to send someone home, she ended up doing so, and it was the person who didn't deserve it.

Yes people say, "who cares, we'll be hearing from Rachel Crowe, no worries..." Well that's never a guarantee is it? I mean look at Tamyra Gray from Season 1 of American Idol. She had an amazing voice and wasn't even in the finals. The big star we saw in her isn't close to what she is today, no offense, but it's true. Then there's Jennifer Hudson, also an American Idol contestant who was booted off way earlier than Tamyra. If it wasn't for her breakout role on Dreamgirls, Jennifer Hudson wouldn't have reached the stardom in movies and music that she is now experiencing today.

Even though Rachel Crowe got eliminated, I also think this 13 year old was too young and not exposed enough to criticisms that one faces on a reality competition show. I have never seen someone sob and drop to the ground when they have been sent home. The scene was so heartbreaking it makes you wonder if they should raise the age limit on talent shows because maybe these kids still have some growing up to do.

Another thing I don't like about X Factor is that there are 4 judges! I mean there's a reason why there's an odd number of judges because there's no DEADLOCK. As much as it sucks to send someone home, it's going to have to be done because that's how the world goes round. After seeing the audiences' reaction to Nicole with the loud boo's and the negativity surround Nicole via Twitter, I wouldn't be surprised if X Factor makes the # of judges odd or that Nicole is fired next season. I guess we just have to stay tuned...
