Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend have split after being together for over 5 years.

The 25-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actress met Rupert on the set of 2005’s movie adaptation of Pride & Prejudice.

According to People, the couple broke up a few months ago. The split occurred shortly after Keira bought a house outside of Nice, France.

British actress and model Keira Knightley is single once more after reportedly splitting from her long term boyfriend, Rupert Friend. The split is rumored to have occurred after she purchased a home near Nice, France. 

Rupert Friend and Keira Knightley have been together ever since they met each other on the sets of Pride And Prejudice, which was released in 2005.

At the age of just twenty five, Keira Knightley is already consider to be an established actress and was second on the list of top ten highest earning actresses in 2007 by Forbes.

Although she has not won any major awards, she has received multiple Golden Globe nominations, a BAFTA award nomination for her role in Atonement and an Academy Award nomination for her role in Pride And Prejudice.

Often termed "gamine" for her style and looks, she is set to appear in the films The Emperors Children (alongside Eric Bana and Richard Gere) and A Dangerous Method with Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender.

Keira Knightley: Captain America Cutie?

Keira Knightley and her boyfriend, Brit actor Rupert Friend, have brunch together at a bohemian cafe on Sunday afternoon (March 28) in London.
The English actress has been approached to play the female lead in Captain America.
Last week, Chris Evans accepted the role of Captain America. My guess is that Keira will drop out of the running.
