MILEY CYRUS AND LIAM HEMSWORTH ARE ENGAGED!

So this has been the news of the day, 19 year old Miley Cyrus and 22 year old Liam Hemsworth are engaged after dating on and off for three years. Both met on the set of The Last Song where they played each other's love interests.

What attracted Miley to Liam was how much of a gentleman he was, compared to other guys she had dated and the fact that he didn't have any preconceived notion of all the negative press she was getting. He actually got to know her by his own terms.

"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Miley told People.

Liam actually proposed to Miley on May 31 with a 3.5 carat cushion-cut Neil Lane diamond ring with 18-karat gold and diamond floral accents. This particular diamond is said to have been carved sometime around 1880, a time where every piece of jewelry was unique.

Miley tweeted, "I love you more today than yesterday but I love you less today than I will tomorrow...life is beautiful."

Miley Cyrus shares a kiss with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth at Sweetsalt Food Shop on Monday (August 8) in Toluca Lake, Calif.

The 18-year-old entertainer and her 21-year-old actor beau got cozy while eating lunch and left the restaurant holding hands.

Miley recently signed on to star in an untitled comedy, which she’ll co-produce with her mom Tish.

“The logline for the high-concept comedy from writers Jack Angelo and Sam Brown is being kept under wraps but it is understood to involve a broken promise to God,” THR reports.

Liam Hemsworth: Birthday Party Pics!

Thor stud Chris Hemsworth comes out to celebrate the 21st birthday of his little brother, Liam Hemsworth, held at Cleo inside L.A.’s Redbury Hotel on Friday (January 14).

Liam also celebrated his birthday bash with some of his pals — actor/director Justin Baldoni and The Hard Times of RJ Berger actress Amber Lancaster.

The party then continued at The Colony, where Liam was surrounded by a gaggle of girls!

Liam’s actual birthday was on Thursday (January 13). Happy Birthday, Liam!!!
