LADY GAGA FACES LAWSUIT IN REGARDS TO JAPAN EFFORT RELIEF

It's difficult to recall the tragic time of the tsunamis in Japan that happened not too long ago, but it seems like Lady Gaga might have to re-visit this period. She wanted to raise money for Japan Relief Efforts by selling $5 white and red bracelets reading "WE PRAY FOR JAPAN".

Lady Gaga is being sued by a Michigan law network by the name of 1800LAWFIRM that claims the singer didn’t donate all of the proceeds from the Japan prayer bracelet sales to charity like she promised. They also are claiming that Gaga "artificially inflated reports of total donations" and over-charged buyers on shipping costs.

Attorney for the law firm Alyson Oliver says, "While we commend Lady Gaga for her philanthropic efforts, we want to ensure that claims that 'all proceeds will be donated to Japan's earthquake' are in fact true. Our intention via this lawsuit is to uncover any improprieties committed by Lady Gaga and appropriate the full donations assumed to the victims in Japan." The Lady Gaga prayer bracelet for Japan sales used deceptive advertising techniques and broke several different federal consumer protection laws.

Many of those who ordered the prayer bracelets from Lady Gaga's website complained about the long delivery along with the additional $5 shipping charge. Lady Gaga's Japan Relief Bracelets generated $3 million in proceeds for the Japan earthquake relief effort which was supposedly given in full. Though none of the reps have commented yet on this situation, we'll see how it plays out.

Lady Gaga leaves her hotel wearing a veil over her head while on the way to the ITV studios on Friday (May 13) in London, England.

The 25-year-old made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, where she wore an avant garde wedding gown and confirmed she is no longer with her longtime boyfriend Luc Carl.

“I’m not dating. No, there’s no boyfriend. I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress,” Gaga said.

AMERICAN IDOL finished their 10th season finale with a BANG! The last episode was filled with performances galore, that topped any television finale I have seen to this date! Where the budget from, I have no idea but it will be difficult for any show to end a season this strong.

Last night was the season finale of Saturday Night Live with Justin Timberlake as host, and Lady Gaga as musical guest. He reunited with Andy Samberg for another spoof music video featuring cameos by Susan Sarandon, Patricia Clarkson, and none other than Lady Gaga!

This video made me laugh last night while I watched it on SNL, and I must admit that Lady Gaga looked HAWWWTTT!!! If she didn't try to make herself look so out of the box all the time, I know that she's pretty in person without all that make-up and crazy gear. I also wish there were more music video spoofs, that was like the skit I always looked forward to whenever I watch SNL.

LADY GAGA'S CONTROVERSIAL VIDEO "JUDAS" PREMIERES

Today, the anticipated music video for Lady Gaga's JUDAS is out. Being a Catholic school girl for 15 years, she claims to have grew up with the concept of religion and has her own beliefs. But Lady Gaga makes it clear, "I don't view the video as a religious statement. I view it as social statement. I view it as a cultural statement. It's a metaphor. It's not meant to be a biblical lesson."

The video had a biker religious theme that had religious elements such as the 12 disciples, Judas crowned in thorns, Lady Gaga washing Judas' feet, a water scene which can be attributed to re-birth or starting fresh and others. Lady Gaga has once again created confusion amongst viewers, but the statement I think it makes is falling in love with someone who isn't right for you and whom no one approves of. But sometimes, we have to take it into our own hands to discover what's best for us.
