Ellen Pompeo: Zoo Kiss With Stella

Ellen Pompeo gives daughter Stella a sweet kiss on the head as they visit a petting zoo on Sunday (July 17) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 41-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress lovingly looked on as Stella petted some of the zoo’s farm animals.

Last week, Ellen wore a coral yellow jacket to check out an art gallery.

Also last week, Grey’s Anatomy began shooting their new season.

The 41-year-old actress grabbed a hot beverage for herself and a juice box for Stella.

The day before, Ellen and her husband, Chris Ivery, attended the Gucci and Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch at Soho House.

Ellen Pompeo: Soho with Stella!

Ellen Pompeo hails a cab in New York City’s Soho neighborhood on Friday (October 8).

The actress carried her 1-year-old daughter Stella, who kept reaching inside mom’s shirt!

E! caught up with Ellen earlier in the week, and she dished on the possibility of a baby for Mer and Der this season on Grey’s Anatomy.

“There probably won’t be a baby this season, for sure,” she said. “It’s hard to shoot babies and deal with babies on shows, so I don’t know that we’ll ever actually see a baby, but I think Derek and Meredith are going to continue to go through their struggles about being a couple and working together and all of that.”

Chris Ivery puts his arm around his two favorite ladies — his wife Ellen Pompeo, and their adorable daughter, Stella — as they walk on the beach on Saturday (April 24) in Malibu, Calif.
Stella, 7 months, got a piggyback ride from Chris, but it looks like she wanted to play in the sand with the family’s dogs. So adorable!
“I’m not afraid to admit when I’m wrong. I think my honesty isn’t that popular in Hollywood, but I don’t believe in putting on airs. I call it like I see it,” Ellen told Self recently. “I am who I am, a [Boston] Southie. I guess you can call me real. I hope that’s what Stella is, too.”Read more:

Between Ellen and Eric Dane, the Grey's Anatomy cast is making the move to being new parents, though Katherine Heigl just took herself off that list by leaving the show. Ellen Pompeo and producer husband Chris Ivery have welcomed a daughter.
“Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery,” Ellen’s rep tells JustJared.com. “She was born on September 15th (Tuesday).”
This is the first child for the 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress and her music producer husband. The baby news was first reported by Us Weekly.
Ellen and Chris wed at New York’s City Hall in 2007.

Mommy-to-be Ellen Pompeo returns home after attending her pilates class in Los Angeles on Saturday morning (August 15).
The 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress is reportedly having a baby girl!
A glowing Ellen went shopping with a friend at Juvenile Shop in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on July 23, where she bumped into Nicole Richie.
“Nicole and Ellen greeted each other with a hug and seemed like they were good friends,” an eyewitness tells In Touch. Nicole was helping Ellen with her baby registry since Ellen is due in October. She wanted everything from a BabyBjorn bouncer to girly organic blankets!
“Nicole was so excited to offer her help to Ellen,” says an insider. “She was giving advice about what she should buy and things she’ll need for the nursery.”

“It’s great news,” her rep Jennifer Allen first told People. “They’re ecstatic.”
The 39-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress first met the 41-year-old music producer at a grocery store in 2003 and began dating six months later. The couple was married at New York’s City Hall in November 2007. Mayor Michael Bloomberg even served as their witness!
