AT LAST, ETTA JAMES RESTS IN PEACE

This morning, Etta James passed away after suffering from leukemia. The soulful singer with a unique voice will always be remembered, especially for her infamous rendition of the classic love song "At Last". That song is played in numerous weddings to signify the long found love between newlyweds and forecasting a beautiful life together.

Etta James did not only suffer from leukemia, she actually has been battling health issues for quite a few years now. In 2009, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease; 2010 she had a dangerous staph infection; and May 2011 had a blood infection. Two weeks prior to today, she was also terminally ill, before she passed away at the age of 73. Though she is gone from this earth, Etta James will always be a memory that WILL LAST. See what other stars had to say about this incredible idol:

Will.i.am: "Showing respect appreciation and love for all the wonderful music and joy #ettajames brought to the world...#ettajamesforever."
