COACHELLA 2012 FASHION

Tell me why I am low key happy that all that Coachella hype is far behind the real world now. This leaves it up to me to now write about the most popular fashions during the two consecutive Coachella weekends.

Now the weather was VERY different the two weekends...from what I hear. The first day of the first weekend, it was freezing cold and even raining a bit in Los Angeles. That first weekend was definitely more chilly, while the second week was sizzling in the high 90's, I think even breaking 100 degrees one of the days!

Here are the top trends for Coachella 2012:

1) Cat-eye sunglasses - I absolutely love this trend! I have the Michael Kors brown cat-eyes with the gold metal on the sides!

2) Polka Dots - Another trend I absolutely in love with! It looks so dainty and you can dress it up or down.

3) Cut-out dresses - This shows just the right amount of sexy while still looking dainty and carefree.

4) Matching tops and bottoms - Who said there was ever a bad thing about being too matchy matchy?

5) Midriff tops - Well it is spring, going to summer right? Ladies, just make sure your midriff is at least decent enough before this trend goes haywire.

6) Sneakers - Get your shoe game up with some statement sneaks that are not only comfortable, but can provide that stylish element to your outfit.

7) Animal/Tribal Print - I say this trend WILL NEVER DIE!

8) Crazy Mismatched Prints - Sorry, I just wouldn't dare crossing that territory. I like to match somewhat, not throw the craziest combinations together. This only works for Coachella though if you're looking for that carefree attitude.

9) Head Scarf - This trend can be cute, but a big no-no at the same time in reality of course. Not everyone can pull this off.

10) Slip On Sandals - Why not opt for sandals that are basically like slippers meant for use outside the house?

Welcome back Coachella-ites! How nice of you to enjoy great music and an escape from reality, but now is not the time to rock some of these crazy fashions. Yes, it's always great to be fashion forward, but don't get ahead of yourselves. Mismatching along with huge head scarves can do some serious damage to your fashion reputation, so be careful of what you may be trying to imitate.
