The iconic Foo Fighters performed their newest single "Walk" and was introduced by funnyman Jim Carrey who wore a suit that doubled as a green screen. The other performers were Lupe Fiasco who performed "The Show Goes On" along with Trey Songz performing "Out Of My Head".

Big winners of the night were the Twilight cast which took home 5 awards including "Best Movie", "Best Female Performer", "Best Male Performer", "Best Fight Winner", and "Best Kiss Winner".

Reese Witherspoon was honored with the MTV Generation Award recognizing her remarkable career as an actress and charitable woman by co-stars Patrick Dempsey, Robert Pattinson, and friend Chelsea Handler. As special as this moment was for Reese, it was butchered by these three people who just kept laughing...it was basically very hard to watch.

Last night the MTV MOVIE AWARDS took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Blowing up the red carpet in summer fashion were plenty of mini dresses and French designer to look out for: BALMAIN.


LEIGHTON MEESTER literally shined in a silver Balmain mirror mini dress with long sleeves. This reminds me of JLo's Grammy dress from earlier this year.

MILA KUNIS kept it simple in Balmain with an embellished mini-skirt and blousy black top. No wonder Justin Timberlake couldn't keep his hands off her.

KRISTEN STEWART finally puts in some effort into her rocker persona with a Balmain strapless mini decorated with pins, studs, and rhinestones.

The 35-year-old actress married Jim Toth on March 26 at her ranch estate in Ojai, California. Reese wore a blush gown by Monique Lhuillierfor her walk down the aisle and “took your breath away,” a guest told People.

Reese’s first gown featured a Chantilly lace corset bodice and a full tulle A-line skirt - for the reception, she slipped into a white silk minidress, also by Monique Lhuillier.

Guests told People that there was a real family feel to the celebration and “so much joy in the room and a lot of laughter.”

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth are now husband and wife, JustJared.com can confirm!

The couple tied the knot in front of family and friends at Reese’s ranch on Saturday (March 26) in Ojai, Calif. Her kids with ex Ryan Phillippe, Ava, 11 and Deacon, 7, attended the ceremony.

Reese, 35, wore a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown and Jimmy Choo’s “Macy” satin platform sandal for the big day.

Jim’s clients at Hollywood talent agency CAA - Isla Fisher (with husband Sacha Baron Cohen), Tobey Maguire with wife Jennifer Meyer), Matthew McConaughey (with wife Camila Alves), and Robert Downey Jr. (with wife Susan) - also attended the star-studded affair, as did Renee Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Gwyneth Paltrow (with husband Chris Martin), mom-to-be Kate Hudson, and Alyssa Milano (with CAA agent husband Dave Bugliari).

Scarlett Johansson, who’s also repped by Jim, brought along her rumored beau Sean Penn.

Reese Witherspoon and fiance Jim Toth go to church service with her two kids, Ava and Deacon, on Sunday (February 13) in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, the 34-year-old actress and Jim checked out the Ryan Bingham and The Dead Horses show at the El Rey Theater.

“They were pretty much arm in arm the entire time. They were singing along to some of the songs. They were pretty adorable,” a source told E! Online.

Reese Witherspoon is set to marry boyfriend Jim Toth, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

“They are extremely happy,” her rep told Us Weekly.

The actress, 34, and Jim, 40, an agent at Hollywood talent agency CAA, began dating at the beginning of the year and went public with their relationship during a romantic weekend in Ojai, Calif.

Jake Gyllenhaal's Romances

Jake Gyllenhaal, hunky Hollywood actor who won great critical acclaim in Brokeback Mountain with Heath Ledger. Jake never caught my eye until Prince of Persia, a movie not really loved but audiences, except my mom and I. He caught my attention from this movie because of his physical transformation. Before Jake to me had some feminine qualities in the looks department, but Prince of Persia really brought out his manly qualities, his ethnic potential.
In the romance department, Jake Gyllenhaal tends to date, not to be blunt, but white women. Not to pick on him or anything, but I am writing this because I have a huge crush on him! And I'm trying to figure out why he goes for the same type of women in the looks department. Let's backtrack to his main romances during his Hollywood career.
Kirsten Dunst: around the same age, but plain Jane, Reese Witherspoon: older, great personality, pretty, great actress, but still kind of plain. Taylor Swift: way younger, she's younger than me! by a year haha, country superstar with too much baggage. What do these girls have in common? Blond hair and blue eyes.
What really though inspired this was his brief romance with Taylor Swift. Here's a girl who has dated Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, and Jack Gyllenhaal. Throughout all her whirlwind romances, comes another country love song that has fans relating to her every lyric. Though the story goes that Jake pursued Taylor with the help of mutual friend Gwyneth Paltrow, this relationships barely lasted 2 months, thank goodness. Taylor has too much baggage left in her to write a decade worth of songs, and it has to say something when men keep dumping her, and her having "no clue why." So not only has Joe Jonas dumped her on the phone, but so has Jake. And what made this cute-sy couple come to an end? Maybe Jake realized he shouldn't date someone considerably younger than him, especially one who has too much heartbreak to still deal with. I wonder if he got out just in time before we hear about another Taylor song on the radio.
Which brings me to my next point: Jake Gyllenhaal date some women of color! Like me! Haha. But seriously, maybe Jake should look into dating girls of mixed races, well at least something besides the usual Hollywood standard of blond hair and blue eyes. Look at Matthew McConaughey with Camila Alves, now that can give some hope to mixed couples and the next generation. How about some Mexican/Filippino to add some spice to your life. Holler!
