Miranda Kerr: Flynn Named After Late Boyfriend

Miranda Kerr has explained the meaning of her son Flynn’s full name.

The 28-year-old Aussie model opened up to The Telegraph about why she chose to name her son Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland Bloom, partially after her first boyfriend Christopher Middlebrook, who passed away at a young age.

“Chris and I had been dating for two years,” Miranda said. “After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way. I told [husband] Orlando [Bloom] and he was the one who said he’d be happy to do that. Orlando’s a good guy.”

Orlando Bloom gives his son Flynn a sweet kiss while eating lunch at the Chaya Cafe on Melrose on Wednesday (June 1) in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old actor was just confirmed to reprise his role as Legolas in The Hobbit, the upcoming prequel to The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The film will be split into two parts.

“Another day in the office xxx,” the 28-year-old Australian model tweeted while taking a break during a Victoria’s Secret shoot.

Miranda’s hubby, Orlando Bloom, recently raved about her post-baby bod while making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“It’s genetics. It’s amazing. She looks incredible, a lot of breastfeeding,” he told Ellen.

Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom: Doctor Visit with Flynn!

Miranda Kerr and husband Orlando Bloom take baby Flynn to the doctor’s office on Tuesday (February 22) in Los Angeles.

Orlando left the appointment holding his 1-month-old son. He then rode off on his motorcycle, while Miranda and Flynn drove separately in a car.

Last week, the 34-year-old British actor and his dad Colin Stone took Orly’s Audi to a service center for repair.

Miranda Kerr has confirmed her first pregnancy!
The 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, who married longtime love Orlando Bloom in July, told the Spanish edition of Vogue (via People) that she’s four months along.
“I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job,” she said of experiencing morning sickness.
Could you tell Miranda was pregnant last month? She was three months along!

A ton of you called it! A friend has told 'Us Weekly' that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child.

Most INO readers said that Miranda was pregnant when the pair announced their secret marriage.

"She's definitely pregnant... Miranda's thrilled," says a source close to the Australia native, who wed the actor, 33, at an undisclosed location -- reportedly in the Caribbean -- less than a month after revealing their engagement on June 21. "She's telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it."

So - no official announcement as of yet... but how can a lingerie model hide this???

"She poses in lingerie," says the friend of Kerr, who has modeled for Victoria's Secret since 2007. "It will be obvious soon enough."

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have tied the knot!!

The 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret model married Orlando, 33, in a small ceremony one month after they confirmed their engagement. Miranda canceled an appearance at David Jones, an Australian department store, and explained why she took the time off.

“David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together,” Miranda said in a statement (via People). “I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

Miranda and Orly dated for nearly three years before making it official.

The two have shot down engagement rumors in the past, but now it’s finally official!

New photos have surfaced of Orlando Bloom with Miranda Kerr, whose left ring finger seems to adorned with an engagement ring.
“I am aware of the images, however I am not in a position to comment,” Miranda’s rep, Carlii Lyon, tells Confidential. Orlando’s rep wasn’t able to confirm anything either, telling JustJared.com, “I don’t comment on his personal life.”
However, last November, Orly’s rep was able to deny reports that the couple wasn’t engaged at that time.
After the photos were taken, Miranda reportedly took off the ring before attending the Hollywood Dominos party with Orlando. She already is on her way back to NYC for work.
