Moroccan & Monroe Cannon: Mariah Carey's Twins!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have revealed their newborn twins’ names!

The 41-year-old legendary singer told CNN that she and Nick have named their son Moroccan Scott Cannon and their daughter Monroe Cannon.

“Dem babies,” as Mariah and Nick referred to them before their birth, were born on Saturday (April 30), each weighing over 5 pounds.

Moroccan and Monroe are the first children for both Mariah and Nick.

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Welcome Twins!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with two very special people - their newborn twins!

The 41-year-old entertainer gave birth on Saturday (April 30) - their wedding date - to a boy and girl at a Los Angeles hospital at 12:07 p.m. EST, her rep told the AP.

The girl was born first, weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz., and 18 inches, while her brother weighed in at 5 lbs., 6 oz., and 19 inches.

“My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!” Nick, 30, tweeted.

Mariah’s rep, who said the couple hasn’t named the twins just yet, also revealed they listened to Mariah’s hit song, “We Belong Together,” after the children were born.

Mariah Carey: Girl & Boy On The Way!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon will soon be the parents of a boy and a girl!

“Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything gender-neutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon,” Mariah, 41, tells Life & Style.

“There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls - but nobody guessed this!” she told the mag.

Mariah Carey: Twins On The Way, Says Nick Canon!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are having multiples!

Nick shared the happy news with his listeners on Thursday (December 16) during his 92.3 Rollin’ With Nick Cannon radio show. “We are having twins,” he admitted

The new first spilled on Sunday when Mariah was performing at TNT’s Christmas in Washington. President Barack Obama was backstage with First Lady Michelle Obama when he asked if she was having twins.

Nick shared, “They, ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, ‘So, what are you having, are you having twins?’ And at this point she hadn’t told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we [got] further along. And because of the excitement [and] emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins.”

Furthermore, Nick confirmed the news on Animoto, which is an online video production application that allows you to make videos using pictures.

“Of course the big news,” Nick said. “New additons to our family!”

Mariah Carey: Pregnant Afterall!

Mariah Carey has officially confirmed that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting a baby in the spring.

After months of speculation about her pregnancy, the 40-year-old singer spoke with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush about the good news.

“Yes, we are pregnant, this is true!” Mariah shared. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I’ve been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.”

“The greatest gift on earth is a child,” Nick said in the interview. “We’ve had names picked out from the first day we met and we want to stay true to that.”

MARIAH AND NICK WELCOME "DEM BABIES!!!"

Finally, Mariah Carey's long awaited pregnancy is finally over!!! On April 30, Mariah Carey gave birth to a twins at 12:07PM EST!!! The girl named MONROE CANNON came out at 5 lbs 3 oz while the boy named MOROCCAN SCOTT CANNON came out to 5 lbs 6 oz through C-section. Everyone is doing fine, and how ironic for the babies to be born on Nick and Mariah's 3 year wedding anniversary!! I can't wait to see how they're twins look like, but congrats to both Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, as well as their families!!! :D
