Kate Hudson & Matt Bellamy Explain Baby Bingham's Name

Matt Bellamy shares a sweet smooch with fiancee Kate Hudson on Monday (July 18) in Malibu, Calif.

The couple, joined by Kate’s 7-year-old son, Ryder, hit the beach where they built sandcastles and flew a colorful kite.

Matt, 33, recently revealed how he and Kate, 32, decided on the name Bingham for their newborn son.

“For those wondering, Bingham is my mum’s maiden name and Bing Russell was Kurt [Russell]’s dad. Family connections all round!” Matt tweeted.

Bingham’s middle name, Hawn, is in honor of Kate’s mom, actress Goldie Hawn!

Bingham Bellamy: Kate Hudson & Matt Bellamy's Baby Boy!

Kate Hudson and fiance Matt Bellamy have revealed the name of their newborn son: Bingham Hawn Bellamy!

“So happy! Just had a baby boy, Bingham ‘Bing’ Hawn Bellamy. Born 7 lb., 12 oz., on 9th July,” the Muse frontman, 33, wrote on his Twitter page.

“Mum and baby are strong and healthy. Mum was a warrior, Bing popped out after 4.5 hours of intense pushing,” he wrote in another tweet.

This is the second child for Kate, 32, who also has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with musician Chris Robinson.

Kate Hudson and her fiance, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy, are the proud parents of a baby boy, JustJared.com can confirm.

The 32-year-old actress gave birth to a healthy baby boy on Saturday (July 9), her rep confirmed.

This is the second child for Kate, who has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, from a previous marriage.

Back in January, Kate said that both she and Ryder had thought that the unborn child would be a girl. Surprise!!

Kate shared the news that she and Matt were engaged back in April during an appearance on The Today Show.

The 32-year-old Something Borrowed actress, who announced her engagement to beau Matt Bellamy last week, finished her look with an Edie Parker handbag and Casadei shoes.

Over the weekend, Kate caught a performance of The Book of Mormon on Broadway.

Kate also came out to support her mom, Goldie Hawn, at the MindUp Hawn Foundation event late last week.

The 32-year-old actress announced the happy news on an appearance on The Today Show on Wednesday morning (April 27) while chatting about her new movie, Something Borrowed.

Kate graces this month’s cover of InStyle and talked marriage with the mag.

“I wouldn’t count it out,” Kate shared. “My own parents aren’t married, and anybody who has seen how we love, open our arms, and accept people with all of their faults knows I come from a great, happy home. A wedding is a beautiful thing - and I love the idea of two people celebrating their love and bringing their families together - but Matthew and I kind of skipped that part and went right to the good stuff!”
