LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian share a kiss in new photos taken on Sunday (April 24), a few days after their wedding.

The couple tied the knot on Friday (April 22) in a small private ceremony, where guests were led to believe that they’d be attending an engagement party!

“After brunch on the beach w/ fam and friends we hit the bed and haven’t moved! We passed out! Exhausted! Happiest first day as Mrs. Cibrian!” LeAnn tweeted on Saturday.

LeAnn Rimes Weds Eddie Cibrian!

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are now husband and wife!

“LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today [Friday, April 22] surrounded by their closest family and friends. They thank everyone for their well wishes,” her rep told People.

LeAnn, 28, wore a Reem Acra gown for the intimate ceremony, which included about 40 guests along with Eddie’s sons, Mason, 7, and Jake, 4.

The couple had told friends and family they were invited to an engagement party - then surprised them by exchanging vows at a private home in California.

LeAnn Rimes: Engaged to Eddie Cibrian!

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian got engaged over the holidays, she confirms via Twitter.

“Eddie and I got engaged over the holidays,” the country songstress writes. “It’s for real this time and the first time EVER!” (She denied engagement reports last month.)

She added, “It was nice to have our little secret for us our families and friend’s a few days! So excited to now share the wonderful news with our fans. Thank you for all your well wishes!! We are extremely excited and look forward to a beautiful future. It’s been an incredible last few days, I was shocked!!! We are blessed, our families are so happy and our lives are filled with love.”

LeAnn, 28, and Eddie, 37, met while filming the Lifetime original movie Northern Lights (they were both married to other people at the time).

LeAnn Rimes Blasts Engagement Report

LeAnn Rimes is denying a recent report she and boyfriend Eddie Cibrian are planning to get married.

The 28-year-old country star took to her Twitter page on Friday (November 5) to blast an E! News story claiming Eddie had proposed.

“Ok, I’ve about had it with the lack of ‘reporting’ with E News. The fact that our “engagement” has spread so furiously over the past 24 hours off of an E News article that is 150% untrue just shows you the lack of credible ’sources’ they seem to find and build a story around,” she tweeted.

“When CNN is calling my publicist off of a lie E News has reported, the media world seriously has a problem with their lack of responsibility to the public to actually report the truth. Even though this is positive ‘news’ its not true,’ she added.

E! News is now reporting that the couple is upset the engagement news broke since they were planning to give the exclusive to another outlet.

LeAnn meanwhile was supposed to attend a party for her October Shape cover on Thursday night but pulled out after her rep said she caught the flu.

What was formerly reported based on gossip and hearsay is official now as LeAnn Rimes recently tweeted to confirm her engagement to former CSI: Miami star, Eddie Cibrian.

The controversial couple who each split up with their previous partner in order to get together last year were also spotted taking a stroll down Malibu beach on Monday with LeAnn Rimes sporting the proof of her engagement, a 5-carat oval diamond in a rose gold fleur-de-lis setting that connects to the platinum ring.

LeAnn Rimes is best known for her singing but she is also an actress and author. While she has most often been thought of as a country music star, she had a fairly successful crossover into the pop music genre during the late 90s through 2001.

Perhaps the best example being the song "Can't Fight the Moonlight" which hit number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100 and was featured in the soundtrack for the movie Coyote Ugly.

Eddie Cibrian is an established television and film actor with prominent roles in Baywatch Nights, Sunset Beach, Third Watch, Tilt, Invasion and most recently CSI: Miami.

LeAnn Rimes: Beso with Beau Eddie Cibrian!

LeAnn Rimes gets all dolled up for dinner with her beau, actor Eddie Cibrian, at Hollywood hotspot Beso on Friday (October 15).

The 28-year-old singer tweeted a picture of her fun dinner with Eddie that evening! The two made a stop at Sports Authority earlier in the day to pick up a sleeping bag.

Next week, LeAnn has two shows in Canada before heading to Georgia and North Carolina!
