JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE WANTS TO MAKE MYSPACE A TALENT COMPETITION

Lately, there has been a lot of talk about the future of the now unpopular MySpace. Due to the competition of other social networks like Facebook and Twitter, the future of Myspace seemed dreary. But lo' behold Justin Timberlake to the rescue?!

Justin Timberlake has purchased a stake in MySpace and plans to help revitalize the failing socia network site. His plan is to turn Myspace into some sort of talent competition. Justin says, "There's a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect. MySpace has the potential to be that place … I'm excited to help revitalize MySpace by using its social media platform to bring artists and fans together in one community."

His manager also talks, "Whether it becomes a talent competition or something like that, those are things that we will still flesh out. We definitely want to bring the industry back to MySpace to really look at the talented people that have put their faces there."

Well from what MySpace was as a social networking profile, it seems like it's now focusing on the music aspect of the industry to help put fans and entertainers in a similar forum. If Justin Timberlake remains to keep his lucky charms, his involvement with this venture is sure to be pure gold.

I don't necessarily agree with the way Soulja Boy is addressing the haters through social media but I do get what he's saying about those people who "like" something just to talk trash or look for something to say at every given moment. People shouldn't go looking for trouble, nor spread negativity around. I know that people are entitled to their opinions, but don't "like" something when in reality you don't "like" it. A FB fan page isn't a forum for negative comments, it's a forum for fan appreciation and awareness about upcoming projects. YA YA TRICK, GET OUTTA MY FACE!!!

Now news has just arrived that Soulja Boy did not write those angry messages, instead claiming he was hacked and is not, I REPEAT IS NOT RACIST AND HOMOPHOBIC. He says, "I had administrators on my account that no longer work with me. The hackers used these old accounts to post hateful messages. This was not done by me or anyone on my team and I'm upset that I am being labeled as a racist and homophobic person." Hmmm apology accepted?!

The cyber world is so universal, and even though your profile might be super private, there are always ways you can be added such as through mutual friends. One thing to keep in mind is that even though a chick looks good, doesn't necessarily mean you should confirm them as a friend. First of all, you don't know if that's really how they appear to be, and they can be prostitutes!!!
