WHITNEY HOUSTON SHOCKING DEATH!

So while I was getting ready to attend a Pre-Grammy event at Hemingway's, I heard the news from a friend that Whitney Houston passed away. At that moment on the radio, one of her songs were playing which was deja vu in a way. I didn't get to find out much details since I was in a hurry, but I just know that the news impacted everyone...fast!

Whitney Houston was discovered unconscious in the bathtub at her Beverly Hilton hotel room. For Grammy weekend festivities, she was supposed to attend Clive Davis' big pre-Grammy party that was also at the Beverly Hilton hotel, 4 floors under her room. She was also working with singers Monica and Brandy on their performance for the Grammy's. Everyone said she looked tired and disheveled. Whitney was currently on the prescription drug Xanax that causes drowsiness, amongst others. Mixed with alcohol, both can have serious effects. She was found in the bathrub, unconscious, until paramedics declared she was dead.

The shocking news went viral fast! No one expected this to happen to the beloved Whitney Houston. Making a splash in the 80's, she was a straight hit amongst the masses. Not only did she have raw talent, one of the best voices in music history, but she was beautiful. The type of beauty that was a great mix of sex appeal and gorgeousness. It is said that her marriage to bad boy Bobby Brown was one of the biggest mistake she could've made personally and career wise. Many have seemed to blame the constant drug abuse to his ways, spiraling her life out of control. Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown were always on the tabloids for their drug abuses, which made people wonder what happened to America's Sweetheart.

With the sad news that broke headlines yesterday afternoon, it shows how fast life can come and pass us by. Whitney Houston was such a beautiful woman with great talent that many stars today looked up to. The world definitely lost a star, but her music and inspiration will live on forever. Rest in peace Whitney Houston!
